Maternal Child Health Care Coordination:
Mothers and their babies receive in-home education and support throughout pregnancy and the baby's first year of life. During pregnancy, the program focuses
on measures to increase the mother's chance of delivering a normal birth weight, full-term, healthy baby. After birth, the focus is on promoting the infant's healthy development.
Health Education:
We provide prenatal and parenting education in Spanish at different sites in Orange County. Babysitting is provided at most classes and fathers and other
support family members are encouraged to attend.
Resources:
Any woman may call or help with her pregnancy or newborn issues and resources and referrals are made by the staff. The issues range from finding a doctor,
food, education or counseling.
